Hi Readers,

Want to make a cookie for Eid or Hari Raya but lazy to buy so many ingredients? Here is a recipe for you, only need 3-4 ingredients only.

Chocolate chip cookie using Premix

Ingredients:

1 kg Cookie Premix flour (any brand but I'm using Bake King)
500g Butter
320g Chocolate chips (preferably Hershey's)
Optional any Nuts

Note: Bake King premix flour does not need eggs but some other premix brands (e.g. Prima) requires it. Do check with the recipe or instructions on the premix flour packaging of the brand

Instructions:

  1. Beat the butter until light and creamy.
  2. Fold in the premix flour and mix well.
  3. Add the chocolate chips and (optional nuts) to the dough mixture. Mix well.
  4. Create small balls from the dough and place on baking tray.
  5. Bake in oven at 180 degrees celsius for 14 minutes.

The amount of cookies you get is dependant on how big the balls of dough are. Smaller balls, more cookies, bigger balls, lesser cookies.

Also, you can add raisins instead of chocolate chips if preferred but DO NOT add in any flour or sugar as it will ruin the premix.

Hope this helps, happy baking! Do share, comment and pin to grow the blog.
