4 Popular online shops for modest fashion in SG

Hi Readers.

Transitioning into wearing a hijab may not be easy for some people so it is best to start slow like wearing modestly first. This means long sleeves, maxi dresses and long pants or skirts. But finding such can be difficult especially if most stores sells shorts and short-sleeve clothing.  

This is a list of 4 popular online shop for finding modest wear that I know of in Singapore.

1) Zalora

1) Zalora (https://www.zalora.sg/women/modest-wear/?from=header)

In Zalora online store, there is a specific category for 'Modest Wear' which most of the products are from Malaysia. There are many styles from modern tops and pants to ethic clothing like jubah or baju kurung and kebaya. Popular Malaysian brands like Naelofar are available in Zalora online.

2) Poplook (https://poplook.com/sgd/home)

Poplook is a brand from Malaysia that fortunately delivers to Singapore and nearby Brunei. Similarly to Zalora, there are many styles available and they have collaborations with celebrities and other brands. They have a Singapore warehouse if I am not wrong when I previously bought from them. Love some of their designs.

3) FashionValet (https://www.fashionvalet.com/)

FashionValet online store consists of many brands from Malaysia, with Lilit and Duck group as the more popular ones. They do have international shipping available. I have not personally bought anything from this site yet but am considering it.

4) Modanisa (https://www.modanisa.com/en/)

Modanisa is a Turkish online store that has many brands and many styles. The sizing in this store can be difficult as it varies from brand to brand. They do have international shipping available though shipping takes about 2 weeks to Singapore. I personally bought my denim dresses from Modanisa and like them very much. 

Overall, while the online stores listed above specialises in modest fashion, stores like Uniqlo has a good range of long sleeve dresses and blouses that can be used modestly. 

Also, there are many other smaller online shops that provide modest fashion which you can find from Instagram, Facebook or Pinterest.
