Brownies Chocolate Cake

 Hi Readers. Do you love brownies as much as I do? This is a recipe my mom will make for Hari Raya Aidilfitri or Eidulfitri. You can also find brownies in the dessert section in a Malay wedding reception. Let see what it consists of.


Ingredients:

175g Salted Butter
150g Caster Sugar
150g Brown Sugar
50g Walnut or Pecan or Any topping preferred
140g Plain flour
60g Cocoa 
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
5 Eggs
170g Dairy Sterilised All Purpose Cream
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 teaspoon Chocolate Emulco


Instructions:

1) Melt the Salted Butter in a Microwave or double boil. Set it aside to cool down.
2) Beat eggs and caster sugar until well mixed using the mixer.
3) Put in the brown sugar and beat it till fluffy.
4) Put in the melted salted butter, cream, vanilla essence and chocolate emulco.
5) Beat the mixture until mix well and smooth.
6) Set the mixture aside.
7) Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder.
8) Fold in flour mixture into the wet mixture by hand and mix well.
9) Once the dough is mix well, pour it to the mould or baking tray.
10) Sprinkle the preferred topping, e.g. walnut on the dough.
11) Bake at 150 degrees celcius for 1 hour.
12) After bake, cool it down for about 1 hour and you can add additional icing sugar or chocolate syrup if you want and serve.
