14 things you need to book for a Malay Muslim Wedding

Hi Readers.

I am putting up a list of things that you will need to book for a Malay Muslim Wedding. This list is changeable depending on your budget and preference. As of Aug 2021, due to Covid19, restrictions are still being placed for certain items in the list.

1) Location

2) Cook

3) Helpers/Dishwashers

Note: If booking in restaurant or hotel, 1 to 3 are inclusive.

4) Wedding cake

5) Bridal 

6) Makeup (Mak Andam &/ Pak Andam)

7) Photographer

8) Videography

9) Wedding Deco (include tent if needed)

10) Wedding Favours

11) Entertainment like DJ, Kompang, Dancers (Restricted as of Aug 2021)

12) Miscellaneous (hantaran gubahan, bunga rampai, bunga manggar, sirih jungjung/dara)

13) Tok Kadi

14) Wedding Rings, Mas Kahwin

Overall, as some locations and wedding planners have packages, some of the above items are included in the package so we don't have to worry about them separately. Just need to make sure what are the items included and what are not clearly.
